n About the Role
n Our client partner, a leading Tier 1 Mining Company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee coal quality and dewatering activities across a large-scale mining operation.
n Working an 8/6 roster, you will provide hands-on leadership to ensure production activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with operational and coal quality requirements.
n Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily coal quality and dewatering activities
n
- Coordinate crews, equipment and operational priorities
n
- Monitor coal quality requirements and production targets
n
- Manage pit water, pumping and dewatering activities
n
- Ensure work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
n
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and shift handovers
n
- Identify operational risks and implement suitable controls
n
- Work closely with production, maintenance and technical teams
n
- Support workforce performance, development and accountability
n

About You

- Previous supervisory experience within open-cut coal mining
n
- Strong understanding of coal quality and dewatering activities
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead operational mining crews
n
- Sound knowledge of mining safety systems and procedures
n
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
n
- Relevant qualifications and current site-required competencies
n
- A practical and safety-focused leadership style
n
