The Role
Maritime Strategic Communications System Project Office (MSCSPO) within the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) is seeking a motivated qualified to fill the role of APS 6 Integrated Product Support Officer to support the acquisition and introduction of new capability and manage the ongoing sustainment of in-service equipment
The APS 6 Integrated Product Support Officer will join a small, multidisciplinary team, providing critical logistics planning, management, governance and assurance for state‑of‑the‑art ADF capability.
Working under broad direction, responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing, developing and supporting strategies and plans for logistics management, and implementing plans.
- Developing and advising internal and external stakeholder the procedures and processes for logistics management.
- Responding to stakeholder needs and expectations, and engaging with subject matter experts to resolve complex issues.
- Partnering with contracted suppliers to manage priorities and provide comprehensive integrated logistics support to Defence capability.
- Facilitating briefs and reports on project or product achievements against expected performance.
- Building and sustaining effective relationships with stakeholders and team members, participating in team work and supporting team development.

The Role

is seeking a motivated professional to fill the role of APS 6 Integrated Product Support Officer to support the acquisition and introduction of recent capability and manage the ongoing sustainment of in-service equipment
The APS 6 Integrated Product Support Officer will join a small, multidisciplinary team, providing critical logistics planning, management, governance and assurance for state‑of‑the‑art ADF capability.

About our Team
Comprised of three major elements, the Maritime and Strategic Communications Systems Program Office (MSCSPO) executive functions are:
Maritime Communications Modernisation, including acquisition projects SEA1442 Phase 4 and SEA1442 Phase 5, and the sustainment of associated capabilities such as the Maritime Tactical Wide Area Network (MTWAN, ex SEA1442 Phase 3),
Naval and Shore Communications Sustainment Management Office, located in Sydney; and
Naval Communication Station Harold E Holt, in Exmouth, WA, which operates and sustains the Very Low Frequency Submarine Broadcast capability.

- Manage complex IPS Program activities, across all IPS elements, to agreed priorities and outcomes.
- The ability to manage and prioritise competing priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail and project timeframes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills enabling you to liaise with stakeholders and convey information clearly.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- A proactive approach to risk management, identifying practical solutions.
- Accuracy and quality across deliverables, documentation and reporting.
- Manage and ensure compliance for IPS Data and information in agreed systems for review and analysis.
- Identify, understand and apply IPS processes and procedures that support informed decisions using data and information derived through analysis.
