- Full-time permanent leadership position within Council's Early Years team

- Salary commencing at Band 7 – $112,111.93 per annum, plus 12% superannuation (commensurate with skills and experience)

We are seeking a collaborative Early Years Regional Team Leader to provide operational and strategic leadership across Council's early years programs. Leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, you will play a key role in shaping service excellence, driving continuous improvement, strengthening workforce capability and ensuring compliance with the evolving early years landscape.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide leadership, mentoring and support to service leaders and multidisciplinary teams
n
- Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement
n
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance development and employee engagement initiatives
n
- Contribute to strategic planning, service development and implementation of early years reforms
n
- Ensure services operate in accordance with legislative, regulatory and funding requirements
n
- Monitor service quality, compliance, performance outcomes and risk management activities
n
- Manage and monitor operational budgets, resource allocation and service sustainability initiatives
n
- Develop productive relationships with families, community organisations, government agencies and key stakeholders
n
- Represent Council on relevant committees, networks and professional forums
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and experienced people leader with a strong understanding of the early years sector and a commitment to achieving exceptional outcomes for children and families.
n
You will bring:
n
n
- Significant leadership experience within childcare and/or kindergarten, leading multiple sites.
n
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards and relevant early years legislation
n
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams across complex service environments
n
- Proven ability to manage change, drive continuous improvement and support workforce capability development
n
- Well-developed stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
n
- Sound financial management, budget monitoring and resource planning experience
n
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities
n
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive and family-centred services
n
n
