ABOUT THE ROLE As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging learning experiences for children across all age groups within the service.

We are offering a Permanent Full‑Time Float role; a fantastic opportunity to experience the Montessori-inspired curriculum. No previous Montessori experience is required!

You must be available for work between the hours of 6am and 6.30pm.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups.
- Record observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes for qualified staff.
- Set up, facilitate, and clean down after our play-based activities.
- Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment.
- Support children during mealtimes
- Provide a secure and welcoming environment for all children and families.
- Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders.
- Participate in ongoing career development and team meetings.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Hold or actively working towards a recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Cert IV in Education Support, B.Ed (Early Childhood))
- Previous experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector
- Hold or be willing to obtain Blue Card.
- Hold or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.




- Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Protection laws
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility in relation to working hours (6am - 6.30pm).
- Experience with Childcare and Xplor and Playground would be highly regarded.
