Peace Kindergarten Cairns is seeking a passionate Certificate III or Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team in a permanent part-time position of up to 37.5 hours per week.

Located in a beautiful, purpose-built Kindergarten featuring three modern learning rooms and lush tropical outdoor spaces, Peace Kindergarten Cairns is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing, inclusive and community-focused environment. ?‍? About the Role

As a Qualified Educator, you will:

- Supervise and engage children in stimulating indoor and outdoor learning experiences

- Support Early Childhood Teachers and Inclusion Support (above ratio)

- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment

- Assist in delivering programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework

- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Work collaboratively within a supportive team

- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment

- Hold current Child Protection Training in accordance with Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law

✅ About You

You will have





- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Kindergarten experience (preferred)

- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

- Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)

- A current Blue Card, current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development
- A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service

- Food handling experience (desirable but not essential)
