Your new company
This is an opportunity to contribute to a major international research program that helps shape workforce, education and training policy. Working within a national program team, you will play a key role in delivering Australia's participation in a large-scale international survey, collaborating with local and global stakeholders to produce high-quality data and insights.
Your new role
As the EL1 Survey Manager, you will lead the delivery and oversight of a nationally significant survey program. Reporting to the Program Director, you will work closely with external delivery partners, international stakeholders and technical specialists to ensure survey activities are delivered to agreed standards, timeframes and quality requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing survey delivery activities and reporting requirements.
- Providing oversight of data quality assurance and survey operations.
- Monitoring fieldwork performance and supporting representative survey outcomes.
- Working with vendors and stakeholders to address operational and data management issues.
- Leading reporting activities and supporting the public release of survey findings.
- Providing technical advice on survey instruments, data collection processes and respondent engagement strategies.
- Identifying risks, resolving complex issues and maintaining the integrity of survey outputs.
- Supporting sound data management practices and compliance requirements.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in your new role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing surveys, statistical programs or complex data collection projects.
- Strong understanding of survey methodology, data management, governance and quality assurance processes.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgement and attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse groups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presenting insights.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
