Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to join a high-performing engineering and project delivery team responsible for the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects and maintenance works across a large industrial site.
Reporting to the Site Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supervising contractors, ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating construction activities, and supporting the delivery of multiple electrical projects and minor works programs.
The team delivers around 2 million in high volume minor works under the electrical AMP each year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional who enjoys leading site activities, managing stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical contractors undertaking construction and maintenance activities
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with legislative and site requirements
- Coordinate daily site activities, permitting and contractor access
- Monitor work quality, schedule performance and compliance outcomes
- Support the delivery of electrical infrastructure upgrades and minor capital works
- Provide technical guidance and oversight during construction activities
- Assist with project planning, commissioning and handover activities
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and safety documentation
- Build effective relationships with project teams, contractors and stakeholders
About You To be successful, you will have:
Essential
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Australian Citizen – Essential for security clearance!
- Current Low Voltage Rescue & CPR certification – or willing to go through.
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical contractors and construction activities
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance and WHS legislation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Team player
Highly Regarded
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience working in industrial, utilities, infrastructure, defence, manufacturing or government environments
- Working Safely at Heights certification
- Confined Space Entry certification
- Experience delivering minor capital works or electrical upgrade projects
