Role Description
We are seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer to support electrical engineering activities, product quality, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves ensuring electrical systems and products meet technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include
- Support the design, development, testing, and improvement of electrical systems, components, and products.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct electrical testing, inspections, measurements, and performance evaluations according to established procedures.
- Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection standards, test procedures, and technical documentation.
- Monitor product and process quality and identify defects, deviations, and potential quality risks.
- Analyze quality issues using appropriate engineering and problem-solving methodologies and recommend corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and other teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Evaluate components, materials, and finished products against defined specifications and quality requirements.
- Assist with supplier quality assessments, inspections, and technical issue resolution where required.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, inspection findings, non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality metrics.
- Ensure engineering and quality activities comply with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and internal procedures.
- Contribute to process optimization, reliability improvements, and initiatives to reduce defects and improve product performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit analysis, electrical components, testing methods, and engineering standards.
- Knowledge of quality management principles, inspection procedures, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, Pareto analysis, and 5 Whys is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and test documentation.
- Familiarity with engineering and measurement tools, testing equipment, and quality inspection instruments.
- Understanding of relevant quality, electrical safety, and industry standards is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy and product quality.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, investigate technical issues, and drive corrective actions to completion.
- Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
