Heathgate is Australia’s most responsible and innovative uranium miner, powering a cleaner energy world. Operating for more than 25 years, they are privately owned and operated, with a remote mining operation east of the Flinders Ranges. We are seeking for Heathgate an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician. Key responsibilities include:
- Planned electrical and instrumentation maintenance, testing, inspections and calibration
- Troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation faults
- HV and LV switching in accordance with site procedures
- Working with control systems, instrumentation and pneumatic equipment
- Assisting with maintenance, construction and improvement projects across the mining operation
- Completing maintenance records and electronic reporting
- Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve operational target
- nsuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures
You will ideally have:
- Unrestricted A Class Electrical Licence
- Cert IV or III in Instrumentation & Control (Cert III preferred)
- Previous mining, resources or heavy industry experience
- Strong electrical and instrumentation fault-finding skills
- Experience with electrical control systems and instrumentation
- HV experience highly desirable
- Good computer skills, including MS Office and electronic reporting systems
