We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team at Coral Coast Electrical in Karratha, WA. What you'll be doing
- Installing, testing and commissioning electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical installations for residential, commercial and industrial clients
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints and technical specifications
- Troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing problems to determine appropriate solutions
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with Australian electrical standards and workplace health and safety requirements
- Liaising with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide professional advice
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Supporting apprentices and junior staff members where applicable
- Keeping up to date with industry developments and best practices
What we're looking for
- Current electrical license or equivalent qualification recognised in Western Australia
- Substantial experience working as an electrician in residential, commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and safety procedures
- Proficiency in using a range of electrical tools and testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
