Role Description This full-time, on-site Electrician or Data Technician role is based in the Greater Melbourne Area. The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and data systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial projects.

Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting plans, wiring and cabling, testing and troubleshooting systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. The role also includes collaborating with project managers and other trades, documenting completed work,



and providing clear communication to clients and team members.

Qualifications

- Strong practical skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, including wiring, cabling, and fault-finding.
- Experience with data and communications infrastructure such as network cabling, structured wiring, and hardware connections.
- Solid understanding of electrical and safety standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the Greater Melbourne Area.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications for commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial projects.
- Effective problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on-site.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in electrical or data communications; current licenses and certifications appropriate to the role.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites within the Greater Melbourne Area.
