This is a hands-on product-development role for someone comfortable moving between:

- firmware architecture
- embedded C
- low-level implementation
- hardware integration
- debugging, test and production support.

You’ll work closely with electronics, power electronics, mechanical, production and quality engineers across the full product lifecycle.

We’re particularly interested in experience across areas such as:

- Embedded C / C++
- Microcontrollers and peripherals
- Firmware architecture and system partitioning
- Low-level drivers
- State machines, scheduling and timing-critical code
- Diagnostics, event logging and fault handling
- CAN, Modbus, RS-485, Ethernet or similar communications
- Bootloaders, firmware updates and configuration
- Hardware / firmware integration and board bring-up
- Oscilloscope,



logic analyser and practical lab debugging
- Industrial controllers, motor drives, VFDs, power conversion, protection products or similar embedded hardware

You do not need to tick every box.

What matters is that you have worked on commercial embedded systems and can clearly explain what you personally designed, implemented, tested, debugged and released.

Experience in industrial products is particularly valuable, but engineers from adjacent areas such as EV charging, renewable energy, UPS, power conversion, automotive electronics, instrumentation or other embedded hardware products are also of interest.

The role is permanent and full time, based in the Wollongong / Illawarra area, so candidates should either be local or genuinely open to relocation.
