We are working with a leading Australian law firm based in Perth for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Energy Projects team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a market-leading Projects & Development team in Perth, advising major mining, oil and gas, energy and resources companies on significant Australian and cross-border projects and transactions. The team acts on high-profile matters, providing exposure to some of the region’s largest energy and natural resources projects.

The role involves advising on acquisitions and divestments, major project developments and expansions across mining, oil and gas, conventional energy and renewables. The successful candidate will also advise on joint ventures and shareholder arrangements, mining and energy regulation, mineral and gas sales and transportation agreements,



LNG transactions and trading arrangements, and power purchase agreements.

Essential Criteria:

- 2+ years’ PQE;
- Solid projects background;
- Experience liaising with clients;
- Strong team player;
- Commercial awareness;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Technically excellent.
