Chatswood Vetfriends is looking for a compassionate and capable Veterinary Nurse / Receptionist to join our team in a true dual-role position. This role offers a balanced mix of hands-on nursing and front-of-house client care.

About the Role
n You'll be an integral part of both the clinical and reception teams, supporting our veterinarians with patient care while also delivering a warm, professional experience for our clients. No two days are the same, and your ability to move confidently between nursing and reception will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
n
Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures, and patient care
n
Monitoring anaesthesia and providing post-operative care
n
Preparing surgical and treatment areas
n
Nursing hospitalised patients and administering treatments
n
Greeting clients and managing appointment bookings
n
Handling phone enquiries and providing client support
n
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
n
Coordinating patient flow between reception and treatment areas
n
About You
n
Qualified or experienced Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV or equivalent preferred)
n
Confident in both clinical nursing duties and client-facing reception work
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
n
A calm, compassionate approach to animal care
n
A team player who thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment
n
