It is part of a learning alliance with local schools and external partners and has an active P&C; group involving parents and the wider community.

The school emphasises evidence-based student wellbeing programs and gathers ongoing feedback through surveys on wellbeing and engagement. Extra-curricular activities include dance, choir, debating, public speaking, sports, and Aboriginal cultural groups.

The school prioritises data-driven teaching practices, regular curriculum review, and a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. It aims to deliver explicit, engaging programs aligned with Department of Education and NSW Education Standards Authority requirements.
