About the role – in-clinic and/or mobile based

n

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Western Sydney area and surrounding areas on a contract basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our diverse client base (including NDIS participants, Medicare patients, aged‐care clients and Workcover patients), helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities and rehabilitation needs
n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
n
- Deliver mobile‐based OT services in western Sydney suburbs and surrounding areas
n
- Deliver clinic‐based OT services at our Westmead or Castle Hill locations
n
- Provide a range of occupational therapy interventions, including but not limited to, functional capacity assessments, activity adaptation, and assistive technology recommendations
n
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care
n
- Document client progress and update treatment plans accordingly
n
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our rehabilitation services
n

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

n

n
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
- New graduates welcome
n
- WWCC
n
- Police check or NDIS worker check or willing to get one
n
- First aid/CPR or willing to complete
n
- Driver's licence
n
- Your own ABN number (if contractor)
n
- Your own personal and public liability insurance
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
