Job Description

Maven Dental Port Lincoln invites applications from experienced and new graduate Oral Health Therapists with Adult Scope to join the practice on a full‐time basis.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform dental hygiene assessments and treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.
n
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and effective hygiene practices.
n
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (X‐rays) to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
n
- Place stainless steel crowns and remove deciduous teeth within scope of practice.
n
- Assist in the management of dental emergencies and support a range of clinical procedures.
n
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up‐to‐date patient records.
n
- Build strong relationships with patients and contribute to a positive, team‐oriented culture.
n
- Adhere to infection control standards and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment.
n
- Stay current with emerging dental technologies, techniques, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Qualified and experienced Oral Health Therapist with Adult scope, registered to practice in Australia.
n
- Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
n
- Ability to work within Australia.




n
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team.
n
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and treatment plans.
n
