Company Description Robe River Services operates as part of Robe River Kuruma Aboriginal Corporation (RRKAC), based in Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. RRKAC is the registered native title body corporate for the Robe River Kuruma people, who hold traditional rights over nearly 16,000 square kilometres of Country. The organisation’s vision is to work together as a community to build independence, wellbeing, strong cultural identity, and healthy Country for current and future generations.

Services supports activities across lands within the Shire of Ashburton and around Pannawonica, including areas along the Fortescue River and the Jajiwurra (Robe) River system. Role Description The Entry Level Operator (ELO) is a full-time, in office role located in Karratha, WA. The ELO will support day-to-day operational activities, including assisting with basic equipment operation, site preparation, and general labour tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities may include safely handling tools and materials, performing routine inspections, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and following work instructions and procedures. The role involves working as part of a team to meet operational schedules, reporting hazards or incidents,



and complying with all safety, environmental, and cultural heritage requirements. The ELO will receive guidance and on-the-job training to build skills and progress within the organisation.

Qualifications

- Ability to learn and perform basic equipment and machinery operation safely and reliably.
- Capacity to carry out manual handling, general labour, and site maintenance tasks in an outdoor environment.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety, willingness to follow procedures, and commitment to reporting hazards or incidents.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to follow instructions and work respectfully with diverse colleagues and community members.
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to manage time and tasks to meet operational requirements.
- Willingness to participate in training and skill development programs, including entry-level certifications as required.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills sufficient for reading instructions, completing checklists, and recording information.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to site in Karratha and surrounding areas (or working towards obtaining a licence) is highly regarded.
