Environmental Service Worker - Cleaner Churches of Christ - St James Retirement Village, Heatley Permanent Part-Time (20 hours p/wk)

About The Role Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking an Environmental Service Worker - Cleaner to join our St James Retirement Village in Heatley, Townsville. As part of our team, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents, helping them to enjoy their home and community. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with people and is committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services.

About You

You will ideally have

- Previous cleaning experience, preferably within aged care, retirement living, hospitality or a similar, multi-disciplinary environment.
- A robust eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly, respectful and professional approach when interacting with residents.
- An understanding of workplace health and safety and safe cleaning practices.
- Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic.

Key Criteria

Essential





- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- Current National Police Check - or ability to acquire.
- Valid Australian working rights - unfortunately, we are not currently able to sponsor.

Desirable
- Certified II in Cookery or similar
