Role Description The Estimator / Supervisor is a full time, hybrid role based in Brisbane, QLD, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for preparing accurate estimates and quotes for cleaning, landscaping, and building services, including assessing project requirements, reviewing plans and specifications, and liaising with clients and internal stakeholders.
The Estimator / Supervisor oversees project delivery, coordinates teams and subcontractors, monitors progress against budgets and timelines, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.
Day-to-day tasks include site inspections, cost analysis, resource planning, reporting on project performance, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and service delivery. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, supporting Indigenous employment and procurement outcomes, and representing Multhana’s values in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong estimating and project supervision skills, including experience preparing quotes, scopes of work, and budgets for cleaning, landscaping, or building services.
- Proficiency in project planning and coordination, with the ability to manage multiple projects, allocate resources effectively, and monitor timelines and costs.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards, with practical experience applying WHS requirements and ISO-aligned processes on site.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build respectful relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Competence in using digital tools and software for estimating, scheduling, reporting, and documentation (e.g., spreadsheets, job management systems).
- Relevant experience in facilities, construction, or property services, ideally within commercial cleaning, landscaping, or building maintenance.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, culturally safe work practices and an interest in supporting First Nations employment and procurement outcomes.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites across South East Queensland
