Senior Estimator

Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Perth-based team, supporting the tendering and delivery of road construction and civil infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

The Role

Working closely with the management and project teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates and tenders across a range of civil and road construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tenders for road and civil construction projects
- Estimating bulk and detailed earthworks
- Reviewing project scopes, drawings, specifications and quantities
- Developing accurate material, plant, labour and subcontractor costings
- Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying project risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
- Supporting tender submissions and client negotiations
- Attending client meetings and project sites when required

About You

- Demonstrated experience as an Estimator within road construction or civil contracting
- Solid knowledge of bulk and detailed earthworks




- Experience estimating road construction projects
- Ideally, experience with asphalt, profiling and associated roadworks
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, plant, labour and materials
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Strong commercial and cost-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tender deadlines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
