About the Role

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Brisbane office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of multi‐disciplinary projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation.

n

Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
n
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
n
- Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support.
n
- Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
n
- Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.
n
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required for this position to communicate effectively with other discipline engineers, electricians, and stakeholders.
n
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards.
n
- Expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation equipment for hazardous areas.
n
- Experience conducting early‐stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems,



including proficiency in electrical system calculations.
n

Desirable but not essential

n

n
- Knowledge and experience working with heavy industry clients in the minerals processing.
n
- Working towards becoming a Registered/Chartered Engineer status, preferable.
n
- Knowledge of control systems design.
n
- Experience in a multi‐disciplinary consultancy setting.
n
- Familiarity with process safety and machine safety.
n
- Experience with studies and FEED.
n
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation (HAZOP).
n
- Project management skills.
n
