We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Short-term Contract position:

n

Part-time (0.75 FTE) position commencing Week 3, Term 4, 2024, with the possibility of continuing through to Term 3, 2025 with a (0.80 FTE).

Secondary Drama Teacher (Maternity Leave Cover)

n

Middle School Drama (Year 7-9)

n

Senior School Drama (Year 10)

n

Senior School Drama (Year 11 General 2024 and Year 11/12 General 2025)

n

We are looking for a passionate, inspiring Drama Teacher with experience and qualifications in teaching the above subject.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

n

- An active Christian faith.
n
- You are passionate about living out your Christian faith and prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos and Core Values of the College.
n
- You are deeply relational, friendly, and open.
n
- You are an outstanding teacher in your subject area.
n




- You have developed a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all the students that you teach.
n
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including team-building and mentoring skills. You are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that your students are always well provided for.
n
- You are committed to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management.
n
- You have an understanding of technology and are able to confidently integrate this into your teaching.
n

Qualifications:

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position.
n
- Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA).
n
- Current Working With Children Card.
n
- Current Police Clearance.
n
