About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Family Lawyer (Senior Associate or Special Counsel) with 5+ years' PAE to join this close-knit and collaborative team. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, child custody and complex financial arrangements.

This role is ideally full-time, though flexible part-time arrangements (such as 4 days or school hours across 4–5 days) can be accommodated for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Providing expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of family law
n
- Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations
n
- Drafting legal documents such as financial agreements, parenting plans and consent orders
n




- Managing a wide-ranging caseload and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines
n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clientsMentoring and supporting more junior members of the legal team
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 5+ years' post-admission experience in family law, ideally including time spent in a reputable family law firm/team
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with clients during sensitive matters
n
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with experience representing clients in court
n
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse caseload
n
- Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with changes in family law
n
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to contribute to the growth and development of the family law practice
n
