About the opportunity:

n

Our client is embarking on a multi-phase technology transformation program aimed at stabilising its technology setting, improving operational resilience, reducing legacy risk, and establishing a roadmap for future-state technology services. An experienced Business Analyst is required to support the Stabilise & Discover and Design & Mobilise phases of the program. Working across business, technology, security, risk, and operational teams, you will lead discovery activities, document current-state environments, define business and technical requirements, and contribute to the planning and delivery of key transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

n

- Lead business analysis, discovery, and impact assessment activities across multiple workstreams.
n
- Gather, analyse, document, validate, and manage business, technical, security, and operational requirements.
n
- Document current-state business processes, applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, and service dependencies.
n
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements, validate findings, assess risks, and support decision-making.
n
- Support Business Continuity Planning, Business Impact Analysis, disaster recovery, and operational resilience initiatives.
n
- Assess business and technical impacts associated with cloud migration, data migration, archiving, server decommissioning, and legacy application retirement.
n
- Develop process maps, dependency maps, business requirements, use cases, options analyses, and business case documentation.
n
- Support application and infrastructure assessments relating to migration, remediation, replacement, retention, archiving, and retirement.
n




- Maintain requirements traceability and support solution design, testing, implementation readiness, and business acceptance.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, operational resilience, documentation quality, and service delivery outcomes.
n
- Contribute to governance activities including reporting, risk management, decision papers, and transformation road maps.
n
- Current-state documentation covering business processes, applications, infrastructure, and data.
n
- Business service and technology dependency maps.
n
- Functional, non-functional, operational, and security requirements.
n
- Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Planning documentation.
n
- Migration, retention, archiving, and decommissioning requirements.
n
- Options assessments and business case inputs.
n
- Requirements traceability, testing, implementation readiness, and business sign-off documentation.
n
- Workshop outputs, recommendations, and decision papers.
