Our client is a well-established facilities services provider renowned for maintaining safe, sustainable, and functional environments across various sectors. They are currently seeking a Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join their team at a prestigious site located in Clayton, VIC.

n

This is an exciting opportunity for a groundskeeper, skilled tradesperson, or experienced maintenance professional to join a supportive company and take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Undertaking grounds maintenance, including gardening, mowing, landscaping and general upkeep of outdoor spaces
n
- Completing general building maintenance and minor repairs, including basic carpentry, patching, painting and other maintenance tasks
n
- Responding to maintenance requests and ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and to a high standard
n
- Supporting site improvement projects and seasonal works across the property
n
- Assisting with event set-up and pack-down, including moving furniture, equipment and other items as required
n
- Supporting the general upkeep, presentation and functionality of the site
n
- Ensuring all maintenance and grounds works are completed safely and in line with relevant site requirements
n

About You:

n

n
- A relevant qualification in horticulture, landscaping,



grounds maintenance or a related field
n
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance, gardening and general site upkeep
n
- Experience with minor building maintenance and repairs, including basic carpentry, patching and general handyman tasks
n
- A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
- Comfortable assisting with event set-up and pack-down, including moving furniture and equipment as required
n
- Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
n
- Current driver's licence required
n
- Ability to pass a Police Check and Working With Children Check
n
- Able to provide two skilled references
n
