JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

- Deliver high-quality clinical care to residents
n
- Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation
n
- Monitor residents' health, nutrition, and wellbeing
n
- Implement infection prevention and control practices
n
- Coordinate holistic, person-centred care
n
- Support resident admissions and transitions
n
- Liaise with residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals
n
- Practice in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
n

n

Personal Care Worker (PCW/AIN) Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
n
- Provide emotional support and companionship
n
- Assist with meals and monitor nutritional intake
n
- Observe and report changes in residents' conditions
n
- Support the Registered Nurse in delivering holistic care
n
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures
n
- Assist with resident admissions and transitions
n
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, nurses, and allied health professionals
n
- Deliver care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
n

About the Candidate

- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
n
- Australian residential aged care experience
n

All Applicants Must Have

- Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
n
- Current CPR & First Aid Certificate
n
- 100 points of identification
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
