About the Role

You will provide high-quality, patient-centred care within your specialty area across various Queensland Health hospitals and healthcare services. These positions offer the opportunity to work in dynamic clinical environments while supporting local teams, maintaining safe clinical standards, and contributing to positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing and midwifery care within your specialty area.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Recognise and respond appropriately to clinical deterioration.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Educate and advocate for patients, families, and carers.
- Contribute to positive patient outcomes through person-centred care.
- Adapt confidently to new healthcare environments and service needs.
- Uphold Queensland Health policies, procedures, and professional standards.

What You'll Need

- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of recent experience within your specialty area.
- Ability to adapt confidently to new clinical environments and healthcare settings.
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Full Australian working rights.
