We are an established private Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology practice servicing Bendigo and surrounds. This position is open to clinicians who have a desire to focus their career in rehabilitation, particularly in the disability sector, and who enjoy working with clients of all abilities to achieve their goals.

You will need to have strong clinical and interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a dedicated team.

The Services offered

- 1:1 interventions in our clinic, in the clients' home and also relevant community-based settings. We are able to tailor our therapy to each individual persons need
- Intervention including hydrotherapy, supporting people participate in sporting activities, gymnasium programs and community integration.
- Attendant care training. Family support and education.
- Equipment and assistive technology recommendations and assistance with provision.

Caseload examples Our Exercise Physiologists work with clients living with:

- Acquired/traumatic brain injury
- Cerebral Palsy




- Spinal Cord Injury
- Progressive Neurological conditions ; eg MND , Parkinsons, MS
- Deconditioning due to ageing or disability
- Stroke
- Gait, alignment or postural issues
- Pain management

The Opportunity When you join the Neuro Practice, you will be part of a team passionate about providing therapy services to people with neurological and general debility conditions, in a supportive and nurturing environment.

You will

- See clients in our offices, their homes, and community facilities.
- Work your preferred hours/days over a 45 hour fortnight. To be negotiated with the successful candidate.
- Learn and train across different therapy practices and treatment methods - an opportunity to focus your interests
- Build relationships with clients who will come to you through established referral pathways.
- Working within and contributing to a multi-disciplinary team.

Our operational hours are between 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday.

Essential Criteria

- Registered ESSE Exercise Physiologist.
- Certificate of PI/PL insurance
- Current Victorian drivers licence
- Current First aid and CPR certification
- Hold an NDIS worker screen clearance/ or be eligible to apply
- Current working with children check/ or be eligible to apply
- High-level written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deliver high quality, outcome-focused intervention
- Excellent time management
