About the role:
If successful, you will provide administrative support across AMES Australia’s property portfolio and contribute to the overall team liaison between business units, site managers, contractors and the facilities asset management team.
The primary objective of this role is to support Facilities & Asset Managers to coordinate maintenance activities, compliance administration, contractor compliance and facilities systems monitoring to ensure timely and effective service delivery across all areas of AMES Australia business operations.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Minimum of a Certificate IV or Diploma in an Administration related field
- A minimum 2-3 years’ experience in commercial facilities/asset management, including proven experience supporting maintenance programs, compliance obligations, contractors and building operations across a multi-site portfolio
- Demonstrated knowledge supporting facilities and asset management teams with a high attention to detail
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across al levels of the organisation and with external service providers
- Ability to maintain facilities management systems, asset registers, compliance databases and reporting tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application and property, asset management systems; experience with Finance One or similar systems is desirable
- Detailed working knowledge of procedures for the purchase of goods and services, the engagement of contractors and the disposal of surplus plant and equipment
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, customer service and skilled values
