Principal Consultant - DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering

Location: Sydney (Hybrid Working Model)

n

Base Pay Range: A$170,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two infrastructure engineers
n
- Design, implement, and maintain on-prem and hybrid infrastructure solutions
n
- Ensure availability, performance, and security of core systems
n
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
n
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders on infrastructure initiatives
n
- Contribute to infrastructure strategy, standards, and continuous improvement
n
- Support and enhance operational technology (OT) environments where required
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Proven experience in an infrastructure or senior infrastructure role
n
- Strong hands‐on experience with:n n
- VMware (vSphere, ESXi, virtualization platforms)
n
- Cisco routers and switches
n




- FortiGate firewalls
n

n
- Experience leading or mentoring technical staff
n
- Solid understanding of networking, server, and security fundamentals
n
- Experience across Operational Technology (OT) environments is highly regarded
n
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
n
