Role - Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and delivery of activities associated with a major transport infrastructure project. The role will work closely with the Project Manager, technical advisors, consultants and government stakeholders to support project outcomes across approvals, planning, governance and project delivery activities.
Employment Type and Duration: Contract - 12 months + extension
Work Model: Hybrid
Location: Nerang, Queensland
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning, coordination and delivery activities associated with environmental and regulatory approvals.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project management plans, schedules, risk registers, action registers and reporting documentation.
- Coordinate inputs from technical advisors, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and contribute to project reports, briefs, correspondence and presentations.
- Coordinate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagements, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
- Identify emerging project risks and issues and support the development of appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Provide project coordination support and advice to the Project Manager to achieve agreed outcomes within time and budget.
- Maintain accurate project records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination, project management or project support within infrastructure, construction or engineering projects.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating inputs from consultants and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
- Experience with project schedules, risk registers, action tracking, reporting and governance documentation.
- Experience working across project development and/or delivery phases of major infrastructure projects is desirable.
- Experience coordinating environmental approvals, stakeholder engagement and consultant management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the EPBC Act approval process would be advantageous.
- Current Class C driver's licence.
Qualifications & Clearance
- Qualification in project management, civil engineering, environmental science, planning, construction management or a related discipline.
- Current and valid Class C driver's licence.
