You'll be the central point of coordination for the Directorate, working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders while ensuring smooth operation, deadlines are met and information flows efficiently.

What you'll be doing
n

- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the COO.
n
- Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel and competing priorities.
n
- Prepare professional reports, briefing papers, presentations and executive correspondence.
n
- Coordinate agendas, meeting papers, minutes and follow-up actions.
n
- Support governance processes and ensure documentation meets Council standards.
n
- Liaise confidently with Councillors, government agencies, contractors, consultants and community members.
n
- Monitor projects, reporting deadlines and Directorate priorities.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and administrative processes.
n
- Maintain absolute discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
