Senior Payroll Officer| Parramatta | $50 P/H plus super

n This 10-month temporary contract offers a dynamic and engaging workload, ensuring your days are both challenging and rewarding. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model, with 2 – 3 days work-from-home available.
n The Position
n As Payroll Officer, you will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for a full suite of payroll activities:

n

n
- End-to-end payroll processing for approximately 700 staff on a fortnightly cycle
n
- Calculate and report workers compensation liabilities, including lost time and injured worker payments
n
- Reconcile Long Service Leave (LSL) accruals and payments in line with Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and state legislation
n
- Handle special reconciliations, including shift worker Annual Leave entitlements outside of EAs
n
- Administer salary increases and back payments
n
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and professionally
n
- Maintain professional communications with internal stakeholders, including supervisors, managers, and employees
n
- Manage the payroll aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes efficiently
n

The Candidate To excel in this role, you will bring the following:nn




- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll in a large, complex environment
n
- Proficiency with major ERP systems, such as Micropay, SAP, ADP, and Time & Attendance platforms
n
- A proactive and can-do attitude, driven to make a tangible impact
n
- Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
n
- Resilience and eagerness to tackle challenges with initiative and determination
n
