Excellent chance for an experienced medical receptionist to join our high quality, private billing practice. We are looking for a friendly and a reliable person to join ourGPpractice in Southbank area. This position is for approximately 16-20 hours per week (must be available on Thursdays and Fridays) with occasional Saturday morning shifts. You will be working with a supportive practice manager and a team of four other receptionists.
We are located very close to public transport and there is car parking available.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Opening and Closing the clinic
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- Welcoming patients into the practice
- Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary
- Billing patients and processing payments
- Maintaining a general tidiness of the practice
- Other clerical and administrative work
Experience and Attributes
- Must be able to provide a highlevel of customer service.
- Friendly and approachable
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Must have some experience in a customer service role
- Familiarity with Pracsoft/Medical director softwarewould be an advantage
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
