Dental Assistant / Receptionist (FT or PT)

Studio Smiles is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join us in Bayside, Highett (3190).

As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team in a unique dual-role position.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of treatments including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants and smile makeovers.

The Role

Perfect for someone who enjoys variety, learning new skills and being involved in all aspects of the practice.

- Unique dual-role position combining both reception and chairside dental assisting duties
- No two days are the same – opportunity to work across patient care, reception, and treatment coordination
- Permanent part-time or full time position available (we're flexible)
- Competitive remuneration - $30 to $38 per hour for esperienced candidates

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and takes pride in being someone their team can depend on.

- Friendly, organized and confident with patients
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy clinic
- Happy to work as part of a small team
- Dental experience strongly preferred

Some of your duties will include:

- General Reception: Checking patients in and out, taking payments, discussing payment options, answering incoming phone calls
- Caring for Patients: Greeting and preparing patients for their treatments, offering reassurance and guidance as needed




- Chairside Assisting: Setting up and assisting for dental procedures, while maintaining infection control standards
- Providing Outstanding Customer Service: We want to ‘wow’ our patients
- Being Adaptable: Being able to wear multiple hats in the practice and adapt to change

What you need

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist or in a similar dental role is highly regarded
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and team members
- Ability to maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
- An eagerness to learn and willing to undertake training and education
