About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Fencer or Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the fencing industry whilst working with an experienced and supportive team. Whether you have prior experience as a fencer or are looking to start a career in the trades, we welcome applications from motivated individuals ready to contribute to our continued success.

This role is based out of our Brisbane office and will involve working on a variety of commercial and industrial fencing projects across South East Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with the installation of fencing systems including timber, Colorbond, aluminium, chainwire, security fencing and gates
- Preparing work sites by clearing vegetation, marking out fence lines, and setting up necessary equipment and materials
- Digging post holes, setting posts in concrete, and ensuring structural integrity of fence installations
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting fencing materials to specification
- Supporting experienced fencers with all aspects of fence construction and repairs
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and site protocols
- Cleaning up work sites and removing waste materials




- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met
- Assisting with fence repairs, maintenance, and customer service calls as required

What We're Looking For

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop expertise in fencing installation and construction
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport are essential
- Previous experience in fencing, carpentry, construction, landscaping, or general labouring is advantageous but not essential. We are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- A commitment to health and safety best practices
- The ability to lift and carry heavy materials regularly
- White Card preferred
