About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Operator to join our team on our joint venture GeoScience project, in conjunction with CSI Mining Services.
Operating in environments across the Central and Eastern Pilbara region, the GeoScience team deliver drill pad preparation, road construction and rehabilitation activities for our Tier-1 client (BHP).
The Mobile Plant
Operator is responsible for the operation of mobile plant (including Dozer, Grader, Loader, Excavator), whilst adhering to any environmental or heritage compliance plans.
Daily basic maintenance and inspecting of mobile plant in accordance with OEM and Safe Work Instructions will ensure optimal production, efficiency and machine availability to meet project targets.
What we're looking for
· Minimum 3 years of operating experience in a civil works setting, with preferrable experience in mining rehabilitation and final trim
· Experienced all-round operators with specific Dozer, Excavator and Trimble GPS experience highly regarded
Essential experience & qualifications:
· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screen
· Current Australian C Class Driver’s License
· Hold, or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance valid within 12 months
· Full Australian working rights
Desirable qualifications:
· Current MRL and/or BHP Inductions
· 4WD/Defensive Driving (such as RIIVEH305F: Operate and Maintain a 4WD Vehicle, RIIVEH201E: Operate a Light Vehicle)
· TLIC1051 – Operate commercial vehicle
· HLTAID011 – Provide first aid
· CPPFES2005 – Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
· Relevant Nationally Recognised Training for equipment being operated
