The Opportunity
Our client is scale-up tech company headquartered in the US, with a growing presence in Australia and New Zealand. This is a newly created Finance Analyst role to support the business in a highly acquisitive growth phase. This role blends financial accounting with FP&A; support to support a highly efficient finance function within a multi-entity setting.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, re-forecasts and financial performance analysis of business entities
- Support month-end close and consolidated financial reporting processes
- Support the integration of new businesses into established finance processes
- Assist with financial statements, audit requirements and statutory reporting
- Assist with implementing consistent reporting processes and controls
- Partner with international finance and shared service teams to improve reporting and processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve finance efficiencies
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion,
with 3-5 years’ audit or business services experience from a Top 10 accounting firm
- Working knowledge of AASB/IFRS and statutory financial reporting
- You are a bright and detailed-oriented individual with strong academics
- You are a confident communicator who is comfortable working with a range of stakeholder
- You are proactive, hands-on and eager to learn with a genuine interest in process improvement
