Reach Markets
Melbourne
Reach Markets sits at one of the most interesting intersections in Australian finance — where capital meets innovation. We are a specialised investment firm that identifies and backs exceptional companies riding the world's biggest structural shifts: AI, electrification, digitisation and the geopolitical reshaping of global supply chains. But unlike a traditional fund or broker, we go far beyond capital raising.
We become long-term partners to the companies we back — providing capital, strategic advice, investor relations, and network access all the way through to exit.
With over $160 million in assets under management, a network of over 10,000 sophisticated investors, and a portfolio of innovative and global-potential companies entering a significant phase of value creation, this is a genuinely exciting time to be part of the Reach team. You'll sit inside a firm that has built something rare in this market — a scalable, relationship-driven model that traditional institutions simply can't replicate.
If you're motivated by doing work that matters, in a team that moves fast and thinks long-term, Reach could be the right next step.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support core financial operations within the Reach group. This is a genuine entry-level role — perfect for someone at the start of their finance career who wants to build strong foundations while working closely with, and learning from, experienced members of the finance team. This is a full-time permanent role based in our Collins Street CBD office. You'll provide day-to-day support across accounts, payroll, and reporting tasks, helping the finance team keep a multi-entity financial services business accurate and organised.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, keen to learn,
and takes pride in getting the details right — someone who is looking for a genuine pathway into a finance career, with the guidance and support to grow into greater responsibility over time.
About You
You're at the start of your finance journey and keen to build strong foundations. You're organised, reliable, and take pride in getting the details right, even when the task is routine. You're looking for a supportive team setting where you can learn, ask questions, and steadily take on more responsibility as you grow.
