About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Head of Finance and partnering closely with the TNQ COO and senior leadership team, this role offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional finance and become a trusted advisor to the business.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Tropical North Queensland (TNQ) business.

This is a key leadership role within the finance function, providing commercial insight, financial leadership and strategic support to the TNQ business and wider Group. Working closely with the CFO, TNQ COO and senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving informed decision-making, improving financial performance and supporting sustainable business growth.

This is not simply a reporting role. We are looking for someone who can understand the numbers, challenge the business, identify opportunities and translate financial information into meaningful commercial insights. You will work across a diverse tourism portfolio and partner closely with operational, commercial and corporate teams to ensure strong financial governance while supporting the business to achieve its strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

As our Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with operational and commercial leaders to provide meaningful financial insight and support strategic decision making.

Key responsibilities include





- Partner with business leaders to support commercial and operational decision making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Deliver insightful management reporting and performance analysis
- Build business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and business performance
- Provide recommendations on investment and capital expenditure decisions
- Support cashflow planning and financial governance
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting and processes

About you We're looking for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys influencing outcomes and building relationships across the business.

You'll bring

- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards)
- Experience as a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Manager
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
- Experience preparing executive-level reporting and analysis
- Ability to translate financial information into practical business insights
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset
