Finance Systems Data Architect

Lead end-to-end finance systems architecture and define the target state for a major enterprise transformation.

FinXL is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Data Architect to join our practice. In this assignment, you will act as a Senior Solution Architect to help establish the architecture foundations for the current and future finance technology landscape. You will work across finance systems, data, integration's, and enterprise architecture, translating business requirements into a clear target state and practical delivery roadmap.

The key outcome for this engagement is to establish a clear target state architecture and roadmap across finance systems, data, and integration, providing the foundations required to support a broader finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end solution architecture across finance systems, data, and integration.

- Assess the current state and define the target state architecture.





- Develop architecture principles, solution designs, data flows, and integration patterns.

- Identify system, data, and integration dependencies, risks, and opportunities.

- Work closely with Finance, Technology, Data, and Enterprise Architecture stakeholders.

- Lead architecture and design workshops and translate business requirements into technology solutions.

- Develop and maintain key architecture and solution design artefacts.

- Provide architectural recommendations and options to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

- Support the development of the finance technology and data transformation roadmap.

- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, data, and technology standards.

Experience Required

- Proven experience as a Senior / Lead Solution Architect across major finance or ERP transformation programs.

- Strong experience across finance systems architecture and data architecture.

- Strong understanding of enterprise integration, data platforms, and application landscapes.

- Experience designing complex solutions across multiple finance systems and technology platforms.

- Experience working across large, complex enterprise transformation programs.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Comfortable presenting architecture recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
