Role Description The Financial Analyst (Hybrid, Entry-Level) role is a part-time position based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines in-office work and some work from home. In this role, the analyst supports financial planning and analysis activities, including assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for ongoing projects and operations.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and helping interpret financial data to support decision-making. The analyst collaborates with project managers and other team members to gather financial information, ensure data accuracy, and communicate insights in a clear and structured manner. Additional responsibilities may include supporting month-end processes, maintaining financial records, and contributing to continuous improvement of financial workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid foundational skills in Finance, including basic understanding of financial statements and core financial concepts.
- Candidates should possess Financial Planning skills, such as budgeting, forecasting,



and assisting with project and operational financial plans.
- Candidates should possess Financial Reporting skills, including preparing, reviewing, and presenting reports and analyses for internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field are highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software tools, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment are advantageous.
- Demonstrated interest in commercial construction, restoration, or facilities services and a willingness to learn and grow in an entry-level financial role are preferred.
