Role Description The Financial Advisor role at Eclipse Financial Planning is a full-time, on-site position based in Coomera, QLD.

The Financial

Advisor will work directly with clients to assess their financial situation, clarify their goals, and develop tailored strategies across areas such as wealth creation, retirement planning, lending, and insurance. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client meetings, preparing and presenting financial plans, reviewing investment and lending options, and ensuring advice aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements.



The role also involves ongoing portfolio monitoring, responding to client inquiries, and adjusting strategies as circumstances change. Collaboration with colleagues across financial planning, lending, and insurance services is essential to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, with the ability to design tailored strategies based on client goals and circumstances.
- Solid Finance and Investments knowledge, including understanding of diverse financial products and risk/return profiles.
- Expertise in Retirement Planning, including superannuation strategies and long-term wealth accumulation.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; additional skilled certifications (e.g., RG146 compliance, CFP or equivalent) are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing advisory roles, with strong communication, relationship-building, and ethical decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data, prepare clear reports, and maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of the Australian financial services environment, including lending practices and insurance solutions, and familiarity with MFAA or similar professional bodies is beneficial.
