About the role

Protective Fire Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, QLD. As a Fire Sprinkler Fitter, you will play a crucial role in installing fire sprinkler systems that protect lives and property. This position is essential to our mission of delivering reliable fire safety solutions to our clients across the region.

What you'll be doing

1. Installing fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties in accordance with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and completing installations
3. Conducting pressure tests and system commissioning to verify correct operation and safety compliance
4. Liaising with clients and other contractors to coordinate work schedules
5. Adhering to all health and safety regulations, workplace policies, and industry best practices on every job

What we're looking for

1. A recognised qualification in fire sprinkler fitting
2. Ability to work independently and to a high standard
3. Proven experience working as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter
4. Strong knowledge of Australian Standards
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications accurately
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders
8. A commitment to safety and demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety principles
