The Role

Reporting to the NSW Pre-Construction Manager, you will support the preparation of fit-out and refurbishment tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Performing quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Assisting in the development of tender programmes and methodologies.
- Maintaining tender registers and estimating databases.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Supporting handover of successful tenders to project delivery teams.
- Assisting with value engineering and cost planning exercises.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- 1–3 years' experience in an estimating, cadet, contract administration or project coordination role within the construction industry.
- Exposure to commercial fit-out, refurbishment or construction projects (desirable).




- A qualification or current studies in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
