Venue Security Officer – Theatres & Live Events | Sydney CBD

CONSTANT Security is currently seeking experienced and professional Venue Security Officers to join our team across multiple premier entertainment venues in Sydney CBD.

n

At CONSTANT, we provide security services to some of Australia's most iconic live entertainment destinations — including theatre productions, comedy shows, sold‐out international performances, and exclusive red‐carpet events.

n

Please note: These roles are based in theatre and entertainment venues and are not pub or nightclub environments.

n

Our venues primarily operate during afternoons and evenings, across seven days a week.

n

About the Role

n

As a Venue Security Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, secure, and welcoming workplace for patrons, performers, and staff.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Providing exceptional customer service in a professional and approachable manner
n
- Performing door operations, front‐of‐stage, and pit security duties
n
- Managing crowd control in accordance with venue procedures and safety standards
n
- Monitoring patron behaviour and responding appropriately to intoxication, drug‐related issues, or behavioural and mental health concerns
n
- Conducting random and targeted bag searches in line with client requirements
n
- Assisting with emergency response procedures and venue evacuations
n
- Completing accurate and detailed incident reports
n
- Ensuring compliance with venue regulations, licensing requirements,



and company procedures
n

Skills & Experience Required

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience working in licensed or regulated environments
n
- A current NSW Security Licence
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
- A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
n
- Strong communication and conflict‐resolution skills
n
- High attention to detail and professional report‐writing abilities
n
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
n
