Role | Title: Data Platform – Data Infrastructure Manager

n

Experience: 6 -10 Years

Mode of Hiring: Permanent

Location: Brisbane

Job Description:

n

n
- Have a solid technical background across a diverse range of Data assets, applications, tools, and vendors
n
- Support the technical delivery team to achieve stability, reliability, and health of the data technical infrastructure
n
- Support a technical team to manage and optimise data warehouse platforms and data acquisition capabilities
n
- Develop SME knowledge across products
n
- Manage platform health by overseeing disaster recovery tests, patching, and access management
n
- Develop and maintain the roadmap for data warehouse capabilities with a focus on optimisation
n
- Manage and prioritise backlog of work
n
- Manage incidents with technical team to ensure timely resolution
n
- Consult with business and technology stakeholders on platform capability and propose effective solutions
n
- Manage vendor relationship and contracts including overseeing the relationship with IBM
n
- Contribute to the broader leadership team by fostering high performing and collaborative team environment
n

- Extensive technology experience ideally within financial services industry.
n
- Project delivery experience and proven leadership in a matrix structure.
n
- Strong technical knowledge of data warehouse environments, with desired experience in IBM DB2Warehouse on Cloud and Infosphere products.
n
- Demonstrated expertise in change management, adaptability, and managing technology assets.
n
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management, internal consultation, and relationship-building skills.
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and storytelling abilities, with a commercially savvy mindset.
n
