Agile Mining Services is a proudly South Australian, privately owned mining services company delivering specialist technical, mining and mineral processing services to the iron ore industry.

Our operations are located near Coober Pedy, and we are continuing to grow. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner to join our team and play an important role in the ongoing reliability and performance of our crushing operations.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Crushing Superintendent, the Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination and scheduling of fixed plant maintenance activities.

This is a hands-on planning role where you will work closely with the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure maintenance activities are well planned, safely executed and delivered efficiently.

You will have the opportunity to influence maintenance strategies, improve reliability and help drive continuous improvement across our fixed plant operations.

The key responsibilities include:

- Plan, organise and monitor planned maintenance activities across the site's fixed plant.
- Develop high-quality work packs and detailed maintenance schedules that clearly align with how the work will be executed.
- Coordinate labour, parts, materials, equipment and resources to ensure maintenance activities are completed efficiently.
- Lead planning for scheduled shutdowns, ensuring all works are scoped, resourced and ready to execute.
- Monitor preventative maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve plant reliability.
- Implement and support maintenance planning processes, procedures and computerised maintenance management systems.




- Develop and support proactive and reliability-based maintenance strategies.
- Identify potential delays or constraints and take action to minimise their impact on maintenance activities.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- Ensure hazards associated with planned maintenance activities are identified and appropriately recorded in accordance with site Safety Management Systems.
- Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Operations and other site personnel to achieve maintenance and production objectives.

About You We are looking for someone who is organised, practical and proactive, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced mining environment.

You will ideally have

- A current SA Class C driver's licence.
- Experience in maintenance planning within a mining, quarrying or heavy industry environment.
- A Mechanical Engineering qualification or a mechanical trade background with experience in fixed plant preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Regulations.
- The ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, engineering drawings and schematics.
- Robust organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a range of teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and finding practical solutions.




- A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.

Experience with fixed plant crushing equipment and shutdown planning will be highly regarded. What's in it for you?
