About the business and the role

Bluestar Global Logistics is an Australian owned National Company specialising in express interstate/intrastate transport, warehousing and global distribution. Our ethos of Integrity, Honesty and Trust shape our decisions and dictate the relationships we have with our customers.

We are seeking full-time forklift operators with loading experience to work on the afternoon shift of our transport department at our Erskine Park, NSW site.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your roles will include

- Operating a forklift to move, unload, load, or put away freight.
- Ensure shipments are accurate, free of damage, and labelled clearly.
- Efficiently and securely stack and store products in appropriate areas.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Operate all equipment in a protected and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Manual Handling duties




- Operating a counterbalance forklift – unloading, loading trailers and rigid trucks.
- Experience with Mez floors
- Use of restraints – gates, straps and angles
- Accuracy of weight distribution when loading
- Understanding the loading and unloading processes
- Manual Handling Duties – Includes Sortation of cartons/parcels
- RF scanning
- Being able to work unsupervised and as a team
- CoR understanding

Skills and experience

- Candidates must be experienced in the operation of forklifts, with truck loading experience.
- Candidates must have a relevant forklift license.
- You must be literate and numerate with some basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of local and regional NSW areas
- Basic Knowledge of interstate locations
